Martin Hauser
I'm Martin Hauser, and I lead hybrid workouts focused on functional strength and endurance improvement.

In my awkward twenties, I thought I’d build a career as a fitness model, but it quickly became clear that I was much more drawn to the sport itself. After skiing, sailing, and various movement arts, I ended up with functional fitness and running.
For a few years now, I’ve been actively doing functional strength training, which I’ve started mixing with other forms of exercise more and more often.
In 2024, I passed my personal trainer and functional trainer exams, and I started working as a coach right after.
In 2025, I passed my kettlebell instructor exam based on the Strongevity Method, so I’ve been able to incorporate that into my workouts as well.
That same year, I started doing HYROX, which is a weighted running race. Every kilometer you run leads into a functional task. Both strength and pace endurance are really important here.
I also started teaching hybrid group classes this year, but it’s a form of training that works great in a personal training setting too.

– weighted running, where we do strength tasks with relatively heavy weights, with medium-intensity running blocks in between. This is how we get used to running being the ‘rest,’ which is excellent preparation for HYROX
– high-intensity hybrid workouts, where we combine ergometry and small-weight or bodyweight exercises continuously for 45 minutes.
This is how we increase endurance even when working out in higher heart rate zones.
