Introduction
A sports school athlete, a first-division volleyball player, an economist instead of a PE university graduate, yet first a part-time and then a full-time coach. Besides that, of course, I’m a restless, actively competing, “try-everything” monkey who refuses to grow up.
I have been working as a coach since 2015 (with qualifications in personal training, strength and conditioning, athletics, and OCR). I got to know OCR, or obstacle course racing, in 2014. After a herniated disc surgery, I started running competitively again in 2016, testing myself first in Spartan races and then in increasingly serious obstacle course (OCR) competitions. I am a multiple-time Hungarian champion in this young sport.
Due to my own injuries, prevention is always a focus in my training: developing and (re)activating the core muscles, as well as ensuring the precise and correct execution of tasks. Whether you come for personal or group training, obstacle or cross-core sessions, you can be sure to get the following from me: – attention – exercises with personalized difficulty levels – a progressive training program – support and a positive attitude – theoretical education (what, why, how, and how not to) – a variety of training equipment (TRX, kettlebell, BOSU, fitball, TheraBand, etc.) – creative, playful developmental exercises that also improve your problem-solving skills—which is very positive in both obstacle racing and real life.

Always count your reps!
It’s not the participation or the success, but the effort that matters.
I hate being cold, yet I take a cold shower every morning.
I hate doing burpees too. Every morning. Yet I do them.
Decaf coffee with almond milk. With ginger tea.
Always hungry. Never satisfied.

CROSS-CORE
You can try a new type of training at Viggo Gym starting in January, where we combine popular CROSS training exercises and equipment (TRX, kettlebell and dumbbell, medicine ball, sandbag, etc.) while building a “turtle shell” on our abs and creating a core that is strong in every direction, flexible, yet stable (using minibands, resistance bands, BOSU, stability boards, Dynair, etc.).
Do you know what HIIT means? It’s okay if you don’t, you’ll find out! I’ll give you a hint: everyone from beginners to advanced will break a sweat!
When should you join this class? If you’re looking for a strength workout alongside running, triathlon, or obstacle training that effectively trains your whole body, has a preventive approach, and prepares and moves the right muscles without using unnecessarily heavy weights.
What should you bring? A towel, a water bottle, and indoor shoes.
